Incident at 1908 Redford #1908

April 17, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 1221 Redford #1908 about 9:40 p.m. on Monday (Apr. 16).

The victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification to family members, suffered a gunshot wound.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. McStravick and C. Howard reported:

The victim was involved in an altercation with several males in an area in front of his apartment. The victim reportedly had a previous argument with one of the males in the group. He returned to his apartment and was apparently planning to confront the group a second time. Before the victim could leave his apartment, he was shot while standing in the doorway. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he is being treated.
