Incident at 4800 Allendale Road #331

September 12, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 4800 Allendale Road #331 around 3 a.m. today (September 12).

The victim has been identified as Venkateswer Nisankarao, 45, of the above address. He suffered a stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer P. Yochum reported:

HPD officers responding to a call at the Concord Apartments discovered Mr. Nisankarao deceased on the living room floor of his apartment. A witness, asleep in the bedroom of the apartment, did not hear or see anything suspicious. Another witness, asleep in the living room, woke up and found Nisankarao lying on the floor and not breathing. She called for medical assistance and the police.

There is no known motive or suspect at this time.
