Incident at 2116 Hardy Street

October 2, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a child at 2116 Hardy Street about 3 p.m. on Saturday (September 30).

The victim, Kristina Aguilar, 2, was taken by HFD paramedics to Texas Children's Hospital after being unresponsive and unconscious. She died on arrival to the hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M.O. Scott and M.S. Walker reported:

Houston Fire Department personnel responded to the above location regarding an unresponsive and unconscious child. The child was taken by HFD to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
