Incident at 9782 Bissonnet

November 16, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9782 Bissonnet on November 16, 2006 at 3:28 a.m.

The victim, Mauro Benedicto Aparicio, 39, of 14010 Bay Gardens Drive in Sugarland, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Belmarez and Officer E. Carstens reported:

Mr. Aparicio was inside Tequilas Nite Club when an unknown Hispanic male shot him multiple times. He was assisted outside the club where he collapsed in the front parking lot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He has a mustache and a crew cut hairstyle.
