Traffic Incident at 6000 Gulf Freeway

November 12, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident involving a pedestrian at 6000 Gulf Freeway on November 12, 2006 at 3:15 a.m.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant J.A. Calley and Officer A. Alaniz reported:

An unidentified male was apparently attempting to cross the freeway when an unknown vehicle struck him. The victim was thrown across lanes of traffic and was struck by other unknown vehicles. One of the vehicles that struck the victim stopped at the scene and stated that she hit something that caused her to spin, and hit the concrete barrier. The male was pronounced dead at the scene.
