Traffic Incident at 6600 Gulf Freeway

November 11, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 6600 Gulf Freeway on November 10, 2006 at 11 p.m.

The victim is identified as Benjamin McMillan. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Two other passengers in the vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant J.A. Calley and Officer S. Martinez reported:

Mr. McMillan failed to maintain a single lane of traffic and he struck the freeway concrete divider which caused him to roll over. He was ejected from his white Ford Explorer and sustained fatal injuries.
