Incident at 1504 Taub Loop

November 5, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man who was transported and dropped off at 1504 Taub Loop about 2:30 a.m. today (November 5).

The victim, whose identity is pending notification to family members, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. McStravick and C. Howard reported:

The victim was dropped off at Ben Taub General Hospital with a gunshot wound. The location of the shooting is unknown and there are no known witnesses or motive at this time.
