Incident at 7035 Bellfort #1107
May 15, 2006 -- Houston police
are searching for at least two men believed responsible for killing
two people at 7035 Bellfort #1107 on Monday, May 15, 2006 at around
12:04 a.m.
Officers were first called to the apartment complex
at 11:22 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2006 for reports of gunshots
being heard. Officers checked the area and found nothing out of
the ordinary.
At 12:04 a.m. officers were called back to the
complex and learned that a husband and wife were found dead in
their apartment. Neighbors told investigators that the female
victim, 25-year-old Eva Pena, manager of the apartment complex,
and her husband, 28-year-old Ricardo Nino Jr. were shot multiple
times. Thc couple's infant daughter was found unharmed in the
apartment.
Residents told HPD Sergeant M. McStravick and
Officers P.T. Yochum, E. Carstens and T. Andrade that two black
males were seen running from the area shortly after hearing the
gunshots. Those suspects are still at large.
