Traffic Incident at 12500 NorthFreeway
March 16, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 12500 North Freeway
about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2006.
The victim's identity is pending notification
to next of kin.

H. Zamora and Officer D. Ertons reported:
A maroon Ford Taurus was traveling northbound
in the 12500 block of the North Freeway when the driver struck
a green Acura causing it to spin out of control and into the path
of an 18 wheeler. The green Acura was hit on the driver's side
door and became lodged between the 18-wheeler and the retaining
wall. The female driving the maroon Ford Taurus continued driving
and then left her vehicle on a side street. Officers located the
vehicle and traced the vehicle to the female driver who was taken
into custody at her residence.
The investigation is continuing and charges could
be pending against the driver.
