Incident at 5500 Antoine
June 17, 2006 -- Houston police
are seeking the identity a suspect who may have been wounded by
a Houston police officer after he pointed a pistol at the officer
in the 5500 block of Antoine about 10 p.m. on Friday (June 16).
The officer who discharged his weapon, Sergeant
J.R. Chase of the North Patrol Division, was sworn in as an officer
in December 1984. He was not injured.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick
and Officer T.A. Andrade reported:
Sergeant Chase was dispatched to a disturbance

who fired his weapon several times at the suspect who fled the
scene. It is believed that the suspect was wounded, however, he
has not been located at this time.

in the city limits, the HPD Homicide and Internal Affairs Divisions
