June 12, 2006 -- One man is shot and killed during a robbery that occurred on Monday, June 12, 2006 at 8021 Bendell Drive around 12:20 a.m.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeants C.W. Howard Jr. and M.W. McStravick reported that the victim and a friend were returning to the home of a relative at 8021 Bendell Drive after visiting a local nightclub when they were approached by two suspects. The suspects produced weapons and demanded their wallets. The victim's friend ran and was able to escape, however victim was shot multiple times and died at the scene. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic males in their late teens to early twenties with shaved or bald heads, wearing a white T-shirts and blue jeans. The first suspect is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, medium build. The second suspect stood between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and slim build.
