Incident at 4800 Maggie

July 27, 2006 -- Charges have been filed against a juvenile suspect in the death of a man at 4800 Maggie about 10:50 p.m. on Monday (July 24).

The suspect, 14, has been charged with tampering with evidence.

The victims identity is still unknown.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. McStravick and C. Howard reported:

The suspect was backing a vehicle from a driveway in the 4800 block of Maggie when she struck the victim. The suspect fled the location and the victim died at the scene. The suspect was later arrested and the vehicle she was driving at the time of the incident was recovered.
