Incident at 10555 Spice Lane

August 18 , 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10555 Spice Lane about 1:30 a.m. today (August 18).

The victim, who has not yet been identified, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer R. Castens reported:

The victim was found on a sidewalk between two buildings inside of the Aspen Ridge Apartment complex. Witnesses told investigators they heard several gunshots and then saw two unknown black male suspects running from the scene and then getting into an unknown type, dark sports utility vehicle heading toward the West Sam Houston Parkway. Both suspects are believed to be 22 to 25 years old. One suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans and the other suspect was tall and slim, and wearing dark clothing.The motive for the shooting appears to be robbery.
