Incident at 1000 Calvin

August 13, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 1000 Calvin around 3:55 p.m. on Saturday (August 12).

The victim has been identified as Michael Richardson, 19. He suffered multiple stab wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Roberts and Officer B.W. Nabors reported:

A witness walking through a vacant field discovered Mr. Richardson lying on the ground suffering from apparent stab wounds. Richardson was on his cellular phone with 911 at the time and asked the witness to complete the call. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported Richardson to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died. There is no known motive or suspect at this time.
