Traffic Incident at 3600 Gulf Freeway
August 10, 2006 -- Charges of
intoxication manslaughter are pending against a suspect who caused
a traffic accident that killed three people and injured three
others in the 3600 block of the Gulf Freeway about 11:05 p.m.
on Wednesday (August 9).
The identities of the three deceased victims
are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's
office. Three of the four injured in the accident, including the
suspect, were transported to area hospitals.

G.T. Hall and Officer M.E. Wick reported:
The suspect was traveling northbound in the southbound
lanes of the Gulf Freeway when his vehicle struck a van head on.
The van burst into flames, killing the three persons inside. Two
other vehicles were also struck, injuring two others.
The investigation is continuing.
