Incident at 3475 Campbell Road
September 17, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3475 Campbell
Road about 11:20 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 16).
The identity of the wounded victim is pending
notification to the next of kin. He suffered multiple gunshot
wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in an
unknown condition.

and Officer I.F. Flores reported:
The victim and a friend went to a mobile home
park at 3475 Campbell Road to visit a friend. That person was
not at home, so they began to leave the premises. As the two men
drove out of the mobile home park, an unknown Hispanic male emerged
from behind a sign and began shooting at the driver of the vehicle.
The driver was struck several times and his passenger, who was
not injured, gained control of the vehicle and drove it to a nearby
gas station.
