October 25, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 5909 Glenmont about 10:15 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 24).

The victim's identity and the cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

H.P.D. Homicide Division Sergeants R. Torres and G. Gonzales reported:

A witness discovered the victim's body in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 5909 Glenmont. Houston police officers and HFD paramedics responded to the scene and determined that the victim was deceased. He sustained noticeable head and body trauma and appeared to have been run over by a vehicle. He may have also suffered a gunshot wound. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot prior to the incident. The victim had nothing in his possession at the time of the incident, which lead investigators to suspect robbery as a possible motive.
