November 27, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 12611
Adelia Court on Saturday, November 26, 2005 about 11:45 p.m.
The victim is identified as Adam Salazar, 18.
The suspect is described as a H/m between 18
to 23 years of age.
HPD Homicide Division Officer C.P. Abbey and
Officer J.C. Bonaby reported:
Salazar was attending a birthday party at a residence
located on Adelia Street. Salazar left the party with a friend
and walked down the street where he began talking to several girls.
Four young men who were friends with the girls walked up to the
group. Salazar and his friend began arguing with the four men.
In order to avoid confrontation, the girls invited
the four young men in their house on Adelia Court and asked Salazar
and his friend to leave. Salazar and his friend acted like they
were laving and then went into the girl's home to fight with the
young men. During the fight, a large group of people who had been
attending the birthday party ran to the girls house and participated
in the fight. Salazar was stabbed in the chest. He was transported
by a group of his friends to East Side Medical Center where he
was later pronounced dead. The suspect left the scene prior to
the police arriving at the scene.
