Incident at 8500 Gulf Freeway
May 2, 2005 -- Houston police
are searching for two gunmen who shot and killed a 24-year-old
man at 8500 Gulf Freeway on Saturday, April 30, 2005 around 2:15
a.m.
Witnesses told HPD Homicide Sergeant S.R. Kennedy
and Officer J.C. Bonaby that Alejandro German Jr., of 6702 Telephone
#34, and a group of friends were leaving a pool hall when another
group of men confronted them. Both groups got into a verbal argument
that turned into a physical fight. An unknown Hispanic male produced
a weapon and fired several times into the crowd, striking Alejandro
German in the upper torso and left leg, killing him.
The suspect and another man got into a black
Ford F-150 truck with tinted windows. Both suspects were seen
shooting at the group as they fled the scene northbound on the
Gulf Freeway service road.
