Incident at 13360 Northborough

July 11, 2005 -- A 28-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with the murder of one of her male roommates that occurred at 13360 Northborough on Sunday, July 10, 2005 around 11:10 p.m.

According to Houston Police Department Homicide Sergeants C.W.Howard, M.W. McStravick and Officer P.T. Yochum, the suspect, Chantique Williams (bf/ DOB 7-25-76) and the victim, 23-year-old Keith Lewis were arguing over money that was owed to Williams. The argument escalated and Williams pulled a handgun from her purse and shot Lewis multiple times. According the witnesses Williams also beat Lewis several times in the head while he lay on the ground.

Witnesses lead investigators to where Williams lived and arrested her at 13355 Northbough #2007. A pistol believed to be the murder weapon was recovered as well.
Williams was charged with murder in the 179th State District Court.
