Incident at 1415 Eldridge

December 4, 2005 -- Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested for criminal trespass at 1415 Eldridge on November 15, 2005.

The suspect, Shawn Morris Rogers (w/m DOB: 8-31-68) has been arrested and is charged with two counts of burglary of habitation in the 185th State District Court.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts reported:

The resident noticed strange things happening in her apartment. She purchased a video camera and caught Mr. Rogers on tape. After showing the videotape to local news media, Crime Stoppers received a tip that helped identified the suspect. An arrest warrant was obtained and Mr. Morris was arrested on December 3rd.
