Incident at 4025 Eldridge Parkway
August 12, 2005 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4025 Eldridge
Parkway about 12:45 p.m. on Thursday (August 11).
The victim is identified as Akhil Ashokkumar
Chopra, 28, of 14504 Briar Forest Dr. #422. He suffered a gunshot
wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by HFD
paramedics.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres reported:
Chopra was found dead in a city park of an apparent
gunshot wound to the left temple. His wallet was missing which
leads investigators to believe that robbery was a possible motive
for this murder.
