August 11, 2005 -- A 25-year-old man is shot and killed after an argument that happened at 8501 Broadway on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at about 3:50 p.m.

According to Houston Police Department Homicide Division Officers K.P. Carr and A. Mares, the victim, Christopher Coleman and the suspect were involved in an ongoing dispute. Witnesses said that Coleman and a friend were in the parking lot of the apartment complex when the suspect came up from behind and shouted Coleman's name before producing a pistol and shooting him in the chest. Coleman tried to run but fell to the ground. The suspect walked up to Coleman and shot him at least two more times.
