Incident at 4906 Pederson

April 25, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4906 Pederson about 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2005.

The victim, David Roy Duncan, 44, of 4906 Pederson suffered gunshot wounds to his back and shoulder and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Binford and Officer T. Miller reported:

Duncan was apparently carrying garbage out of his home to the street when he became involved in some interaction with the suspect. Neighbors reported hearing a series of gunshots. Duncan was shot while at the end of his driveway. He was found wearing his jewelry and had money in his pockets. Duncan's front door was unlocked but his residence did not appear to have been entered. Investigators do not know the motive for the shooting at this time.
