GRAND SLAM FOR YOUTH BASEBALL

     Houston, it’s time to batter -up! The Parks and Recreation Department kicks off its 2005 Youth Baseball, Softball and T-ball program Jan. 10 at community centers across the city. Registration is open to boys and girls ages 4 – 18. League play begins March 7.
     Parents register your child by January 31 and receive four free tickets to the Houston Astros FanFest on February 12 at Minute Maid Park.
     The Youth Baseball/Softball program is sponsored by Grand Slam for Youth Baseball a partnership between the Houston Astros and the makers of Minute Maid.
