The Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD) has partnered with Pro City Houston Summer League to host a pro-am basketball league at the Fonde Recreation Center, 110 Sabine St. With games played on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., now through August 18, the league offers Houstonians the chance to come out and see top professional and amateur basketball talent in action, free of charge.
This season’s lineup for the Fonde All Stars includes Moochie Norris (New York Knicks); Ray Younger (TSU and Fonde legend); and Michael Sneed and Aaran Warren (both TSU).
