The Department of Neighborhoods Office of New Americans and Immigrant Communities, NALEO Educational Fund & Neighborhood Centers Inc. took part in the last Citizenship Forum of the year on Saturday, November 19 as part of Citizenship Month. The forums provide participants with one-on-one citizenship application assistance and legal consultations with immigration attorneys.

Be Amazing, Stand Up and Volunteer

June 26, 2012 -- Be Amazing, Stand Up & Volunteer
With the release of "The Amazing Spider-Man," Sony Pictures Entertainment challenged citizens to "Be Amazing, Stand Up & Volunteer."  On June 26, the Mayor's Volunteer Initiatives Program mobilized volunteers to take part in a national day of service.  Volunteers transformed the courtyard and recreation area at the Lyerly Building, which houses low-income senior residents and people with disabilities.
