Solid Waste Management Department Collection And Facility Schedule For Juneteenth Federal Holiday 2023

In observance of the federal holiday on Monday, June 19, collection services will be delayed from the scheduled service day. We ask all residents to review the holiday schedule below and leave their carts at the curb. Residents can follow us on Facebook and Twitter and download the HTX Collects app for up-to-date information on our services.

Monday, June 19, 2023 (Juneteenth)
CITY HOLIDAY: NO COLLECTION SERVICES. All Solid Waste Facilities will be closed, including the Neighborhood Depositories, Recycling Centers, and administrative offices.

Tuesday, June 20, 2023
Monday’s garbage, yard waste, and 3rd Monday bulk/junk waste collections will be serviced. All Solid Waste facilities will re-open and resume normal operating hours. Please note that Monday and Tuesday B-Week recycling will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day, Monday, July 3rd and Wednesday, July 5th, 2023.

Wednesday, June 21, 2023
Tuesday’s garbage, yard waste, and 3rd Tuesday’s bulk/junk waste collections will be serviced.

Thursday, June 22, 2023
Thursday’s garbage, yard waste, and 3rd Wednesday’s bulk/junk waste collections will be serviced.

Friday, June 23, 2023
Friday’s garbage, yard waste, 4th Thursday’s bulk/junk waste collections will be serviced.

Saturday, June 24, 2023
Thursday and Friday’s B-Week recycling and 4th Friday’s bulk/junk waste will be serviced.
