Solid Waste Management Department Collection And Facility Schedule For Independence Day July 4th, 2023

In observance of Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th, collection services will be delayed from the scheduled service day. We ask all residents to review the holiday schedule below and leave their carts at the curb. Residents can follow us on Facebook and Twitter and download the HTX Collects app for up-to-date information on our services.

Monday, July 3, 2023
Monday’s garbage, yard waste, 1st Monday Tree Waste collections and Monday’s B-Week recycling will be serviced.

Tuesday, July 4, 2023 (Independence Day)
CITY HOLIDAY: NO COLLECTION SERVICES. All Solid Waste Facilities including the Neighborhood Depositories, Recycling Centers, and administrative offices will be closed.

July 4 Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

Wednesday, July 5, 2023
Tuesday’s garbage, yard waste, 1st Tuesday and 1st Wednesday’s Tree Waste and Tuesday’s B-Week Recycling collections will be serviced. All Solid Waste facilities will re-open and resume normal operating hours.

Thursday, July 6, 2023
Thursday’s garbage, yard waste, and 1st Thursday’s Tree Waste collections will be serviced. Thursday’s B-week recycling will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day, Thursday, July 20.

Friday, July 7, 2023
Friday’s garbage, yard waste, 1st Friday’s Tree Waste collections will be serviced. Friday’s B-week recycling will be serviced on your next scheduled collection day, Friday, July 21.
