Houston, Texas, August 29, 2017: Due to Hurricane Harvey no garbage, recycling, yard or junk waste will be collected Wednesday, August 30, 2017. All SWMD facilities, including the Neighborhood Depository/Recycling Centers, the Westpark Recycling Center and the Reuse Warehouse will remain closed. Please visit our website for updates. In the event of severe weather events remember to place your carts in a secure location. This helps ensure residents carts are not damaged or lost due to weather-related occurrences.
