April 1, 2024 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1400 Greens Parkway about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (March 31).

The identity of the deceased female, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and North Belt Patrol Division officers reported:

The female was a passenger in a red Lexus IS 250 traveling eastbound at the above address when the driver stated he encountered an abrupt hill in the roadway, causing the vehicle to go off the road and strike a tree. Paramedics transported the female to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

The male driver, 24, was questioned and released. The investigation is continuing.
