Investigation into Shooting at 11700 Bissonnet Street

September 02, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 11700 Bissonnet Street about 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday (September 1).  

The victim, 17, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers Z. Brumley and R. Cook reported: 

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim had suffered gunshot wounds to the back of the neck and the right thigh.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital. 

Three persons were detained at the scene for questioning.   

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
