November 06, 2019 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others that occurred at 7104 1/2 Schley Street about 4:20 p.m. on Monday (November 4).

The person wanted for questioning in this incident is described only as a tall, thin black male in his early 30s and wearing a beard.  He is shown in a white shirt in the attached photo taken at a Houston hospital.

One suspect, Jonathan Ariel White (b/m, 30), was charged on Tuesday (November 5) with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 230th State District Court.  A booking photo of White is attached to this news release.

The victims were shot while in a residence at the above address.  The preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was the result of a robbery involving narcotics.  The suspects fled the scene, however further investigation led to the identification of White as a suspect in this case and he was subsequently arrested without incident for his role in Mr. Ybarbo's death.
