Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9100 Westheimer
March 21, 2019 - The fatal shooting of an armed male suspect that occurred at 9100 Westheimer #421 about 12:30 a.m. today (March 21) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the suspect is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Daignault and Detective J. Jimenez reported:
When one of the residents at the above address answered a knock at the door, the suspect forced his way inside, assaulted the resident and demanded property at gunpoint. While the resident wrestled the suspect for the gun, a roommate rushed into the room. During the ensuing altercation, the suspect was shot at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
