Investigation into Shooting at 2502 West Little York

August 12, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 2502 West Little York about 11:00 p.m. on Saturday (August 10).

The victim, Reginald Powell, 55, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Ferrell and J. Roberts reported: 

Officers responded to a shooting at the above address and upon arrival found Mr. Powell lying on Easter Street, just south of where he had been shot on West Little York.  Powell stated the suspect, who is known to him, pulled up next to him  in his brown, older model Nissan pickup and stated to Powell that he knows Powell broke into his truck.  The suspect then pulled out a pistol and fired multiple shots, striking Powell more than one time.  The suspect then fled the scene. 

The investigation is continuing.
