Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 9344 Richmond
February 13, 2014 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect charged and wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman at 9344 Richmond about 1:55 a.m. on Jan. 26.
The suspect, Emilio Angel Cervantes-Gonzales (H/m, DOB: 7-21-90), is charged with murder in the 177th State District Court. Cervantes-Gonzales, who is accused in the killing of Yasmin Arzola Ortiz, 20, was last seen driving a green Hummer with Texas license plates CKF8760.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer R. Lujan reported:
On Jan. 26, Ms. Ortiz was shot in the parking lot of the Mekano Live Club at the above address. Ortiz was transported to the hospital in critical condition and died from her wounds several days later. A preliminary investigation determined the shooting was a result of a fight that occurred between two males inside the club minutes prior to the shooting.
Further investigation identified Cervantes-Gonzales as the suspect in this case. Cervantes-Gonzales has fled the area and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Investigators believe he may have fled to Mexico.
