Incident at 5100 Browncroft November 14, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at the 5100 block of Browncroft about 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday (November 13). The victim, Patrick Gims, 42, of 1221 Redford, suffered stab wounds to the head and upper body. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Cisneros and Officer J. Robles reported: Officers responded to a cutting just occurred and observed a suspect lying on top of Mr. Gims, who had been stabbed multiple times. The suspect was detained and Gims was transported to the hospital.
