Incident at 1305 Wayside

July 24, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 1305 Wayside about 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2005.

The identity of the victim and cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Officer M. Walker reported:

The complainant walked out of the liquor store after making a purchase and he was stabbed at least one time. HPD Officers arrived at the location and found the victim to have an apparent stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time there are no known suspects or witnesses.
