5th Annual Park to Port Bike Ride
Hermann Park is excited to host the 5th Annual Park to Port Bike Ride on October 6. The 20-mile ride will start in Hermann Park and travel east along the Brays Bayou Greenway trail to the Port of Houston, where Port Houston will sponsor a turn-around party at Hidalgo Park with snacks, music and activities. Riders will then return along the same path, heading west to Hermann Park for a Post-Ride Party under the Bill Coats Bridge with music, food, drinks and more. 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. - Rolling start at Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park
8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Turn-Around Party at Hidalgo Park sponsored by Port Houston
9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Post-Ride Party at Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park
The participation fee is $35 per person and registration closes at midnight on Oct. 4. All proceeds from Park to Port benefit Hermann Park Conservancy's stewardship and improvement efforts for one of Houston's most beloved greenspaces.
NOTE: This is a ride, not a race! Riders are encouraged to follow the laws of the road and be aware of those around you. All riders must wear a helmet. You must be at least 10 years old to participate. No training wheels allowed.
