Andrew Carroll
Behind the Lines and War Letters

The Houston Public Library's Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research is hosting bestselling author of Behind the Lines and War Letters, Andrew Carroll, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 2 PM.

Andrew Carroll has been on an odyssey to save war letters from tens of thousands of American veterans, active duty troops and military families transcending through every U.S. military conflict, from the Revolutionary War to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Carroll has coined his quest the "Million Letters Campaign." The campaign is dedicated to preserving at least 1,000,000 of these beloved wartime correspondences.

His presentation at Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research will include exhibiting extraordinary letters from the collection and a discussion on his experiences of collecting these letters.
