Summer Reading with Jerry Craft

Join us at HPL Central Library (or online) as we welcome Newbery Medal winner himself, Jerry Craft, for our Summer Reading Author series! Jerry will be sharing his journey as an author as well as fun facts about his books and writing process along with a special illustrative demo! Please register to attend. Participants will have a chance to win 1 of 50 free copies of a Jerry Craft book.

Explore the Solar System at a Star Party, featuring the Astronomy Dome - a mobile planetarium experience! - telescopes, a "Space Story Walk" and all things NASA!* Enjoy out-of-this-world activities and crafts. Enter a costume contest and blast off with a DIY Cardboard Rocket (Not sure what a cardboard rocket is? Here's an example). Please register to let us know you're coming.
